The 2011 Deutz Amour de Deutz Blanc de Blancs Champagne has notes of grapefruit, white peaches, Mirabelle plums and delicate dried flowers throughout the palate. This Blanc de Blancs Champagne is rich and complex. Amour de Deutz 2011 is a rare and subtle wine. The finish is persistent and seductive with a smooth and delicate note of fresh butter.

Nestled into the slopes of the famous vineyards of Aÿ, France are the picturesque stone buildings of Champagne Deutz, founded a century and a half ago by William Deutz and Pierre-Hubert Geldermann. Today, Deutz upholds the traditions of fine champagne making handed down through five generations.

The 2011 Deutz Amour de Deutz Champagne is 100% Chardonnay carefully selected from some of the top places for that grape in Champagne. It is mostly grand cru, 50% Avize, 15% Mesnil and 12% Oger, with 11% Villeneuve, 6% Vertus and 6% Villlers-Marmery.

The 2011 Deutz Amour de Deutz Blanc de Blancs Champagne is ideal as an aperitif, this wine goes perfectly with caviar, sushi, sashimi, lobster, white meat, tuna carpaccio or Kobe beef.
