The 2016 La Sirene Giscours wine develops black plums aromas along with notes of incense, and the oak is perfectly integrated into the wine. The La Sirene de Giscours, the second wine of Chateau Giscours, is produced in the Margaux appellation. This red wine comes from a 95-hectare vineyard planted on Garonne gravels and sands of glacial origin. The aging is done in barrels with 50% of the wine in new oak barrels for about 12 to 15 months. This 2016 La Sirene Giscours wine is made from a blend of 58% Merlot, 24% Cabernet Sauvignon, 11% Cabernet Franc and 7% Petit Verdot.
