Description
The 2020 Wild Rock Sauvignon Blanc wine is sourced from the wild, rocky soils of Marlborough, New Zealand. This Wild Rock Sauvignon Blanc wine shows fresh aromas of white peach, pale lemon straw with green hue, fresh green herbs, blackcurrant bush and wet river stones. The Wild Rock Sauvignon Blanc wine has a lovely rich fruit core of citrus and apple is balanced with fine acidity for a soft yet pleasantly dry finish.
The Wild Rock Vineyards is a producer of premium crafted wines situated in New Zealand’s prime wine growing districts of Hawke’s Bay & Marlborough. Their name was inspired by the first great voyage of Captain James Cook & Sir Joseph Banks to New Zealand where they espied the wild rock formations along its coastline from the sea back in 1769.
The 2020 Wild Rock Sauvignon Blanc wine is great as an aperitif or paired with seafood or Japanese dishes such as sushi or sashimi. Works well also with scallops, asparagus risotto, or salads.
