Alenza Gran Reserva is a mature, structured and elegant wine. On the nose, the aromas of ripe black fruit stand out on a toasted and mineral background. In the mouth, it is intense, ample and very long. A wine with all the character of Ribera del Duero. Alenza Gran Reserva is a red wine made with Tempranillo from a single plot, Viña Valera, located at around 800 metres of altitude on loamy-sandy soils. Once the grapes are harvested manually, they are taken to the winery and stomped without destemming. Then, the grapes ferment in stainless steel deposits, where they also go through the maceration. After the fermentation, the wine spends 36 months in American oak barrels, and rests another 36 months in the bottle before going on the market.
