Description
The Beaujolais Villages Vieilles Vignes, Mommessin wine has a soft fruits of forest aromas. The wine is well-balance between the wine itself and aromatic abundance. The selected plots of vines spread over slopes and plateaux of the commune of Montmelas, Saint-Etienne la Varenne, Lantignié and Blacé in Beaujolais. The plots are situated at an altitude of 984 feet. The vines of more than 40 years in age, some going up to 80 years, contribute to the richness and complexity of the aromas.
The 2020 Mommessin, Beaujolais Villages Vieilles Vigne has a dark crimson red color. This Beaujolais wine has notes of cherries and berries on the nose. Black-cherry and berry flavors blend with the soft texture and acidity. Ripe and fruity, it has a fresh aftertaste.
