This Chateau Calon Segur is a medium-bodied beauty is seamless, perfectly balanced, and has nicely integrated acidity as well as still-present tannins.
The Chateau Calon Segur is the oldest of the leading Saint Estephe. In the 18th century, the house belonged to the famous Marquis de Ségur and while he proprietor of Lafite and Latour, it was always said that his heart was at Calon. That is why we still see a heart shape on the labels.
