The 2014 Chateau Haut Bages Liberal wine has a slightly subdued bouquet at the moment. This Chateau Haut Bages Liberal wine has aromas of cassis bush and wet earth with oyster shell. This Pauillac wine is medium to full body, firm and juicy tannins and a delicious finish. The palate is better with redcurrant and cranberry, edgy in the mouth with slightly dry tannin on the finish. This is a decent Chateau Haut Bages Liberal wine, though it needs to knit together and gain more persistence in the mouth.
