Description
Chateau Margaux 2007 is a blend consisting of 87% Cabernet Sauvignon, 11% Merlot and 2% Cabernet Franc. Following weather conditions that were quite poor throughout the summer, the 2007 vintage was saved thanks to a superb Indian summer. The grapes underwent a severe selection process, as evidenced by the 32% of the harvest used to create this great Margaux wine. Chateau Margaux 2007 owes its remarkable character mainly to Cabernet Sauvignon, representing the majority of this blend and lending it a certain air of nobility, class, finesse and density. Complementing the Cabernet Sauvignon is Merlot, a varietal that offers the wine a full-bodied texture, tenderness and great richesse.
