This Shiraz wine has ripe raspberry and cracked pepper on the nose, with chocolate and spice on the palate finishing wiht smooth velvety tannins and toasty vanilla oak. Time in bottle will see even more complexity develop, with an increase in cedar and savoury characters. This best of vintage Shiraz from Coonawarra Estate is produced with grapes of extraordinarily high quality. The Coonawarra Shiraz wine has been 18 Months in French and American oak.

Di Giorgio Wines is a small family owned & operated winery in the heart of Coonawarra. Their winery is the 2nd oldest in the region with vines planted as early as 1963 on prime, shallow Terra Rossa soil in their 13.5 hectare property. The Di Giorgio Family are 5th generation winemakers that trace their origins to the small town of Secinaro in Abbruzzo, Italy. In addition to producing premium wines from Coonawarra and Lucindale, Di Giorgio sources specific varietal fruit from different areas of the Limestone Coast where they believe the terroir is best suited to certain grape varieties.
