The elegant 2023 Vom Haus Zweigelt from Pfaffl Winery comes into the glass with bright light red. The nose of this Vom Haus Zweigelt red wine shows all sorts of plums, plums, black cherries and morello cherries.

On the palate, this Vom Haus Zweigelt wine from Pfaffl starts wonderfully aromatic, fruit-driven and balanced. On the palate, the texture of this balanced red wine presents itself wonderfully silky. Due to the moderate fruit acidity, the Zweigelt Vom Haus flatters the palate with a velvety feel, without lacking juicy liveliness. The finish of this youthful red wine from the wine-growing region of Lower Austria finally thrills with good reverberation. The finish is also accompanied by mineral facets of the soils dominated by loess.

This Austrian red wine is best enjoyed tempered at 15 – 18°C. It is perfect as an accompaniment to lamb stew with chickpeas and dried figs, veal rump with beans and tomatoes or braised chicken in red wine.
