Description
The 2015 Saint Saphorin Les Freres Dubois wine has a translucide pale straw color. This Les Freres Dubois wine has bouquet of peaches, citrus and cottage cheese. This Swiss White Wine is sharp acidity with enough fruit to balance it, a nice mineral touch on the finish.
This Les Freres Dubois wine is made from a Chasselas grape variety cultivated in integrated production in terraced vineyards and hand-picked between the end of September and mid-October in the Saint-Saphorin Lavaux AOC vineyard.
The Saint Saphorin vineyards are terraced on steep slopes west of Vevey in the communes of Chexbres, Rivaz and Saint-Saphorin. Thanks to the intense solar radiation, together with the light reflected from the lake and the heat stored by the stone walls, there is a very special microclimate. The Saint-Saphorin Dubois is pressed in the Caves du Petit Versailles. The Frères Dubois have set themselves the task of emphasizing the finesse and the very special characteristics of this magnificent Chasselas from Saint-Saphorin.
The Saint Saphorin Les Freres Dubois wine pairs well with Poultry, Lean Fish, Mild and soft cheese. It goes well as Aperitif too. This Swiss White Wine should be served well chilled around 10° degrees.
