The 2024 Sanz Verdejo wine, from La Seca, Valladolid, Spain – D.O. Rueda, is a textbook example of Verdejo—aromatic, vibrant, and fresh. Made from 100% Verdejo grapes cultivated at an altitude of 750 meters on mineral-rich, gravelly soils. This Sanz Verdejo wine it underwent cold pre-fermentative maceration, followed by low-temperature fermentation. The result is a bright straw-yellow wine with green reflections, offering elegant aromas of green apple, grapefruit, and freshly cut grass, supported by subtle fennel and floral nuances. On the palate, it’s fresh and expressive with good structure, delicate sweetness, and a distinctive hint of bitterness unique to Verdejo.

Fresh and expressive, the 2024 Sanz Verdejo has a 13.5% ABV, from D.O. Rueda. This Verdejo white wine is ideal with baked or grilled fish, shellfish, and artisan fresh cheeses.
