The wine is brilliant and violet-edged ruby in color, the 2012 Inglenook RC Syrah shows fresh, vibrant aromas of plum, blueberry, tobacco, and forest floor. The wine is superbly balanced on the palate, with well-defined notes of fennel, cedar, and allspice, which emerge gradually. The texture is velvety, supported by extremely well-integrated French oak, and the long, aromatic finish resolves perfectly.

Roman Coppola, a Syrah aficionado fond of both the Australian heavyweights as well as the more pedigreed Syrah-based wines from the Northern Rhone, worked with the Inglenook winemaking team to create an estate Syrah that combined the nuance and texture of ‘old world’ Syrah with the powerful fruit of ‘new world’ Syrah. Our terroir provides optimal conditions for producing this rich, opulent wine.

Our most recent tasting of the 2011 Inglenook Rubicon revealed a complex nose that includes notes of graphite, dark red currants, and a floral potpourri of dried rose petals with hints of allspice. This wine demonstrates a refined richness, yet its intensity does not weigh down the palate. The flavors exude a freshness, complemented by nice acidity. Impressions of juicy dark cherries, tobacco, and currants are most prevalent, while notes of spices, tea leaves, and an intriguing earthy quality create a more rugged wine that is very expressive of its unique terroir. The wine’s essence is further enhanced by fine-grained tannins, which support an elegant structure and refined finish that boasts deep aromatic notes of espresso.

The 2012 Opus One wine is a classy, complex, suave and savory. Glorious purity of fruit here with blackcurrants, blueberries, dark chocolate, fresh herbs and forest floor. Hints of mint. Full body, seamless tannins and wonderful balance. Tight and compacted tannins with beautiful fruit and great length. Notes of hazelnut and chocolate. One of the best Opus One wine in years. This Cabernet Sauvignon wine is compacted and beautiful.

The exceptional style of Opus One resulted from the combination of their talent, their vision and the unique terroir of the Oakville AVA an Eden for Cabernet Sauvignon. Today, this highly sought-after wine is produced from four different parcels, two parcels making up the famous 40-hectare To-Kalon vineyard, along with the River and Ballestra Parcels surrounding the Opus One winery.

The iconic 2012 Proprietary Red Opus One wine is a blend of 79% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Cabernet Franc, 6% Petit Verdot, 6% Merlot and 2% Malbec aged 18 months in French oak.

Our Napa Valley 2019 Pine Ridge Cabernet Sauvignon wine leads with pencil shavings and cola aromas. On the palate, cherry, sweet vanilla cream and strawberry share the bill, alongside dusty tannins and a lasting finish that reminds of toasted nuts. This Pine Ridge Cabernet Sauvignon wine is enticing now and will drink well for at least 5 years.

The 2019 harvest marks the fifth great vintage in a row. Although it was another drought year and yields tended to be a bit lower, the quality was very high. The year started out hot, then became cold, then turned hot again, and October began one of the heaviest rain seasons this region has seen in many years. The grapes were hand harvested at night, carefully sorted in the vineyard, then brought to the cellar and destemmed. Following a cold soak, fermentation occurred at a high temperature to ensure maximum extraction was achieved. The wine was racked to 35 percent new American oak barrels, where it was aged for 18 months prior to bottling.

The enticing aromas of our 2014 Pine Ridge Stags Leap District Cabernet Sauvignon wine reveals red cherry, berry and plum highlighted with notes of licorice, cola, mocha and freshly-cut rose. The plush flavors, echoing the aromas, are enveloped in a round mouthfeel and framed by silky tannins. This 2014 Pine Ridge is beautifully balanced acidity gives the wine vibrancy on the palate and carries the flavors through a bright finish that invites you back for another sip.

Our steep, densely planted Stags Leap District estate has been the heart of the winery since Pine Ridge Vineyards was founded here in a farmhouse in 1978. This wine is a pure and exquisite expression of the world-famous Stags Leap District AVA.

The 2019 Seghesio Zinfandel Cortina wine is medium garnet-purple in color with a seducing nose of lilacs, rose hip tea, dusty soil and garrigue over a core of kirsch, baked raspberries and mulberries plus a touch of baking spices. This Seghesio Zinfandel Cortina is big, rich, full-bodied and equally seductive in the mouth, it has a firm frame of grainy tannins and great freshness, finishing long and spicy.

The Cortina is the name the name of the single vineyard in which the top quality Zinfandel grapes come from for this wine. The vineyard is names this as Cortina is also the dominant soil type of the area, a gravelly loam. This intense, structured Zinfandel was aged for 14 months predominatley in French oak.

The 2015 Seghesio Zinfandel Home Ranch has a blackberry, black plum and other brambly fruit characteristic of Alexander Valley. “Graham crust” undertones typical of the Home Ranch terroir. This wine has subtle hints of oak, briary acidity and a finish of ripe peach.

This zinfandel wine pairs deliciously with gnocchi gorgonzola, barbeque meats – not too spicy, and blue cheese.

The 2019 Seghesio Zinfandel Sonoma County has aromas of wild blueberry, briary raspberry patch and baking spice give way to a palate of juicy, ripe blackberry and black plum. Soft tannins, a rich mouthfeel and focused acidity lead to a long finish. Creating a delightful Seghesio Zinfandel wine to pair with red sauces, pizza, and barbeque, as well as sopressata and dry jack.

This estate has turned out a delicious 2017 Zinfandel Sonoma, and it has plenty of classic Zinfandel blue fruits, spice, cigar, and cedary aromas in a medium to full-bodied, pleasure-bent style. This wine is rock solid and perfect for barbecue dishes.

This 2022 Wente Louis Mel Sauvignon Blanc wine is welcoming with fresh aromatics from flint, guava to wet stone, balanced by notes of mandarin and lime zest. This Wente Louis Mel Sauvignon Blanc wine has a beautiful and lean minerality, bright acidity and a lingering finish.

Beautifully aromatic with notes of ripe grapefruit, kiwi and terroir-typical minerality. Notes of early-season white nectarine complement a bright cleansing acidity and lingering mouthfeel. This Wente Louis Mel Sauvignon Blanc wine should be served chilled.

The Estate Grown Louis Mel Sauvignon Blanc is named after a French emigrant, Louis Mel, who traveled to the western United States in the 1870’s seeking a place to make wines to rival the great French Crus. He found the ideal home in the Livermore Valley. Acquiring Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon cuttings from the Marquis de Lur-Saluces, owner of the famed Chateau Y’quem, he planted them in his vineyards.
