The 2012 Foppiano Estate Petite Syrah has dried blackberry, sweet cinnamon, coco powder and a hint of sage show in the aromas. This Syrah wine progresses over the palate with dark espresso, raspberry jam, dark chocolate covered blueberries and finishing with perfectly integrated oak spice. Concentrated fruit, balanced acidity and mature tannins will allow this wine to age for 10+ years.

Located just south of the town of Healdsburg, Foppiano vineyards sits on 160 acres in the acclaimed appellation of the Russian River Valley. Cool morning fog and warm summer days create an ideal microclimate for grape growing. The Foppiano family has been producing world class fruit on this land since its purchase in 1896. Today the vineyard is planted to Petite Sirah, Zinfandel, and Sauvignon Blanc on the warmer bench lands, and Pinot Noir and Chardonnay on the cooler land close to the Russian River.

This 2017 Foppiano Northern Edge Cabernet Sauvignon wine has aromas of cassis, red raspberry, and blackberry syrup are balanced with French oak tones of spice, dried herbs and vanilla. On the palate, one can find black current, root-beer, and a touch of lavender. Black plum, more dried herbs and cocoa linger in the finish with tannins, which set up this “last pick” wine for ageing of up to 10 years.

The vineyard that this wine comes from is one of the oldest on the Estate. Planted in 1985 using the traditional head trained viticulture of historic California vineyards. It showcases the final vintage of “Block 5” which could be seen from the tasting room and was removed this past year.

Our 2016 Foppiano Zinfandel wine expresses lavish red plum aromas, crushed blueberry mixed with white pepper and cedar. This Zinfandel has red raspberry flavors with strawberry, huckleberry and Allspices, lead to a balanced wine with natural acidity and soft tannins.

The Frank Red has a full bodied dry red wine. It has lifted plum, blackcurrant and spicy aromas on the nose. This Frank red wine has ripe forest fruit characters, with savoury tannins and a long finish. This Frank Red wine has a blend of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Shiraz, 20% Merlot, 100%.

The Frank White Wine by Di Giorgio Family has a floral aroma showing tropical fruit and lemon zest from the Sauvignon Blanc with hints of stone fruit from the Semillon and Chardonnay. Palate Fresh and fruity, with a zesty, cleansing finish. The Frank White is an easy-drinking approachable style wine for every occasion.

The 2020 Frank White Aromatic Dry White Wine has a fresh, floral aroma with tropical fruit and lemon zest. This white wine has a fresh and fruity, with a zesty, cleansing finish. The Frank White Wine has a blend of 35% Sauvignon Blanc, 33% Semillon, and 32% Chardonnay. The 2020 Glen Ellen Cabernet Sauvignon is a medium-bodied wine with juicy flavors of berry and black cherry and soft tannins for a rich finish.

The 2020 Gamla Cabernet Sauvignon from Golan Heights Winery displays complex aromas of cherry, blackberry and mulberry, along with hints of tobacco, herb and French oak. This 2020 Gamla Cabernet Sauvignon wine is flavorful wine exhibits a full body and a satisfying finish.

While ready to enjoy upon release, Gamla Cabernet will develop in the bottle for a number of years, and will age well for about six to eight years from harvest. Try pairing the wine with braised beef short ribs, grilled steak with salsa verde, or a mushroom and black bean burger topped with cheese.

The 2019 Gamla Merlot from Golan Heights Winery exhibits fruit characters of raspberries and cherries, intermingling with notes of orange blossom, spice, earth and roasted coffee. This flavorful 2019 Gamla Merlot displays a full body and just a bit of pleasing structure.

Though pleasurable to drink upon release, the 2016 Gamla Merlot will improve in the bottle for several years, and should stay in excellent drinking condition for some seven years from vintage. The 2020 Gamla Pinot Noir wine is from Golan Heights Winery. This Gamla Pinot Noir wine displays aromatic notes of raspberry, sour cherry, violets, red apple and spice. This flavorful and drinkable Pinot Noir exhibits light-to-medium body and classic varietal character.

The 2020 Gamla Pinot Noir wine was produced from Pinot Noir grapes harvested entirely from vineyards in the cool northern Golan Heights. The red wine was aged in French oak barrels for seven months.

Try pairing this Gamla Pinot Noir wine to food-friendly wine with free-range veal piccata, crispy-skin salmon, or Peking duck pancakes.

The 2017 Gamla Syrah wine is from Golan Heights Winery that displays ripe cherry and plum fruit characters, with complex notes of smoke, earth, anise and spice. With medium to full body, this Syrah is aromatic and flavorful.

The 2017 Gamla Syrah is produced exclusively from Syrah fruit harvested from vineyards in the cool Golan Heights growing region. The wine aged in French oak barrels for 12 months. The wine is ready to drink upon release, and should remain in excellent drinking shape for about five to seven years from vintage.

The wine pairs wonderfully with grilled lamb chops, smoky spiced porterhouse steaks, or fried tofu with spicy peanut sauce.

The 2021 Yarden Hermon Moscato from Golan Heights Winery was produced from Muscat Canelli grapes grown entirely in the cool climate, rocky volcanic soil, and high altitude of the Golan Heights. This 2021 Mount Hermon Moscato displays aromatic characters of tropical fruits and fresh flowers, along with notes of tangerine peel and subtle mint. This flavorful dessert wine is lightly sparkling, pleasantly sweet and wonderfully drinkable.

Try pairing the Moscato wine with a bright lemon cake, buttery shortbread cookies or a mango mousse, or serve it alone as a refreshing aperitif.

The 2020 Yarden Cabernet Sauvignon wine features attractive fruit characters of ripe cherries, plums and raspberries, intermingling with complex notes of earth and herb, all with a background of elegant French oak. With pleasantly opulent body and a lingering finish. This is a classic Cabernet Sauvignon. The 2020 Yarden Cabernet Sauvignon is made from grapes harvested from a number of our finest Cabernet vineyards in the Golan Heights Winery. The wine aged for 18 months in French oak barrels, 40% of which were new.

The Galilee (or Galil) is the most northern, and generally considered the best, appellation in Israel. The highest quality area within the appellation is the Golan Heights (or simply the Golan), the coldest region in Israel. The vineyards on this volcanic plateau rise from 400 meters (1,300 feet) above sea level to 1,200 meters (3,900 feet) and receive snowfall in the winter. Golan Heights Winery is located in the town of Katzrin in the central Golan.
