The Felsina Vin Santo Chianti Classico DOCG 2005 is made with Trebbiano, Malvasia and Sangiovese, the 2005 Vin Santo del Chianti Classico opens to a brilliant amber color and thick viscosity that hugs to the rim of the glass. Oak-driven tones of vanilla and caramel are immediately apparent, but quickly followed by candied fruit, butterscotch and orange peel. Clusters undergo a natural drying process on mats until February of the following year. The must is transferred to sealed oak casks containing the “mother,” or gelatinous remains from previous vintages. Fèlsina and consulting winemaker Franco Bernabei have made a fine showing with this new set of releases.

The Ferreira Branco has a yellow-straw hue and a fresh but intense aroma, with attractive floral and fruit tones. Soft and very well balanced in the mouth, it is a rich and full wine, with added complexity and nobility deriving from a careful ageing in wood.

The Ferreira Dona Antonia Reserva has a beautiful red colour, with intense tawny shades that recall its slow maturation in wood. Its bouquet is intense and rich with hints of very ripe fruit (plum, apricot and marmalade) and floral notes. Complex, its spice and nutty notes derive from the evolution in oak wood, through oxidation In the mouth, it is a full-bodied and rich-flavoured wine, extremely well balanced, that combines elegance with a delicate yet persistent finish.

The Ferreira Duque de Braganca 20 Years is from the Douro region of Portugal. This Fortified Wine is well balanced, complex and intense showing dried fruit and nuts.

The Ferreira LBV 2009 has a ripe dark fruit with a slightly candied aspect. Full bodied, sweet, quite robust and tannic, delivering tart dark fruit/berries with a touch of heat on the finish. This Fortified Wine is good basic LBV.

The Ferreira Quinta do Porto 10 Year Old has a deep tawny hue with red hints. Floral and spicy with ripe fruit aromas. In the mouth, the classic and fresh style of the Ferreira brand is conspicuous, achieving a fine balance between the difference sensations in the wine body and in the long finish in the mouth.

The Ferreira Ruby has an intense and well defined ruby hue. Its intense aromas is reminiscent of very ripe fruit. Full-bodied and rich, it has a fine balance between its sweetness and its tannin structure, giving it unique characteristics and a fine and attractive long finish.

The Ferreira Tawny has a beautiful red hue with fair hints of spices and dry fruit, acquired during the ageing in oak wood. In the mouth it is an elegant wine that shows a fine balance between mature tannins and sweetness, providing it with an attractive, long finish.

The 2019 Finca Villacreces wine has a black cherry colour. This Villacreces wine has aromas of red fruit with toffee oaky hints from the French barrel.

The Bodega or the winery is located right in the middle of the estate. It has been constructed with the main aim to respect the environment and to appreciate the natural flavours & character of the fruits that are processed inside it. The grapes are carefully selected by hand before they are pushed to the next stage, where strong jets of air are blown over the fruits to sort the berries with utmost care.

The 2016 Finca Villacreces Nebro wine is quintessential from Finca Villacreces, a wine that started life in an exceptional parcel set among pine, olive and juniper trees, in the Golden Mile hugging the River Duero, with vines over 80 years old, and produced from small clusters with tiny berries. The 2020 Finca Villacreces Pruno wine has a deep, black cherry color. Aromas of red fruit embodied with toffee oaky hints from the aging in French barrel revealing a sweety and fruity wine on the mouth. Reminiscences of ripen fruit and licorice. This Finca Villacreces Pruno wine offers a pleasant and soft aftertaste.

The blend is mostly Tempranillo with 9% Cabernet Sauvignon fermented for three weeks and matured in French barrels for 11 months. It’s clean and quite fruit-driven, approachable and juicy, with integrated oak. Very pleasant, with very good freshness.

The 2005 Familia Ferrer Can Sala sparkling wine has a golden yellow color that shows the long aging. This Cava has small and continuous bubbles. This Freixenet Ferrer Can Sala wine is complex and clean tertiary aromas. Fresh, clean and showing good acidity and fruitiness with a powerful ripen fruit, toast and French bakery flavors. The Can Sala Cava has a very long and velvety after-mouth with plenty of honey and butter notes.
