    The Sanama Reserva Merlot wine has red fruits, prunes and vanilla aromas. This Merlot wine is fruity, smooth and has round tannins, with a soft finish.     The Sanama wines come from the Santa Amalia vineyards, located on the generous alluvial soils of the Cachapoal Andes Valley.They are protected from the moderating influence of the Pacific Ocean by the coastal mountains, but the influence of the Andes ensures warm days and cool nights. This provides ideal ripening conditions for the grapes, resulting in ripe tannins and attractive perfumes.

    The 2020 Sauvion Les Bosquets Vouvray Blanc wine has a fairly pale yellow in color with a golden sheen. This Sauvion Les Bosquets Vouvray Blanc is expressive on the nose with floral and ripe fruit hints citrus, The Sauvion Les Bosquets Vouvray Blanc has aromas of honey after a few months of conservation.     The 2019 Seghesio Zinfandel Cortina wine is medium garnet-purple in color with a seducing nose of lilacs, rose hip tea, dusty soil and garrigue over a core of kirsch, baked raspberries and mulberries plus a touch of baking spices. This Seghesio Zinfandel Cortina is big, rich, full-bodied and equally seductive in the mouth, it has a firm frame of grainy tannins and great freshness, finishing long and spicy.

    The Cortina is the name the name of the single vineyard in which the top quality Zinfandel grapes come from for this wine. The vineyard is names this as Cortina is also the dominant soil type of the area, a gravelly loam. This intense, structured Zinfandel was aged for 14 months predominatley in French oak.

    The 2016 Seghesio Zinfandel Old Vine has notes of ripe blackberry, baking spices and underbrush fill the bouquet. A rich entry of plum and cherry compote give way to a full mid-palate of smooth tannins and intense structure.

    This wine comes from the old head-pruned vineyards in Alexander and Dry Creek valleys farmed by the multi-generational Passalacqua and Saini families for Seghesio. The older vines devigorized root system produces less, yet more intense, fruit highlighting Zinfandel’s briary spice characteristic.

    Beautifully balanced, this zinfande wine pairs well with Beef Braciole, mushroom sugo, and cherry balsamic pork tenderloin.
