The 2018 Tinto Pesquera Reserva wine by Alejandro Fernandez from Ribera del Duero, Spain. This Pesquera Tinto Reserva has finesse and strength and is a wonderful example of the true elegance that can be obtained when Tempranillo is aged over time in bottle. Clean and brilliant with an attractive, deep ruby hue. Nose: Complex and very elegant with black fruit aroma, such as plums, together with notes of smoke, spices, roasted coffee beans, toffee, licorice and brioche. Palate: Full, creamy and lingering on the palate. Very rounded, coated tannins with hints of well-integrated fruit coming through.

Tinto Pesquera’s vines are located within the province of Valladolid, in the heart of Ribera del Duero, which has hot summers, incredibly cold winters and extreme diurnal temperature differences that create an ideal combination for producing silky and sumptuous Tempranillo wines.

This 2018 Tinto Pesquera Reserva wine is a perfect as an accompaniment with casseroles, red meats and matured cheeses.

The 2019 Tinto Pesquera Crianza wine has a clean, bright-coloured wine with a ruby-red hue and some violet undertones. This Tinto Pesquera Crianza has a medium to powerful aromatics with hints of fresh red berry fruits, such as red currants and raspberries, together with toasted and roasted coffee bean notes. A silky, elegant entry on the palate. Deliciously rich with good acidity and very pleasant, well-integrated tannins. Intense red berry fruit flavours come through in the finish. The oak is harmoniously integrated bringing hints of toast and vanilla, characteristic of a wine aged in American oak.

From the Ribera del Duero region of Spain. Its home to some of the world’s finest 100% Tempranillo wines, Pesquera Tinto Crianza undergoes no filtering or fining. The result is an intensely fleshy, incredibly complex Tempranillo. One that’s a highly sought after import around the world.
