This 2017 Foppiano Northern Edge Cabernet Sauvignon wine has aromas of cassis, red raspberry, and blackberry syrup are balanced with French oak tones of spice, dried herbs and vanilla. On the palate, one can find black current, root-beer, and a touch of lavender. Black plum, more dried herbs and cocoa linger in the finish with tannins, which set up this “last pick” wine for ageing of up to 10 years.

The vineyard that this wine comes from is one of the oldest on the Estate. Planted in 1985 using the traditional head trained viticulture of historic California vineyards. It showcases the final vintage of “Block 5” which could be seen from the tasting room and was removed this past year.

Our 2016 Foppiano Zinfandel wine expresses lavish red plum aromas, crushed blueberry mixed with white pepper and cedar. This Zinfandel has red raspberry flavors with strawberry, huckleberry and Allspices, lead to a balanced wine with natural acidity and soft tannins.

Located just south of Healdsburg, Foppiano Vineyards sits on 160 acres in the acclaimed Russian River Valley. Cool morning fog and warm summer days create an ideal microclimate for grape growing. The Foppiano family has been producing world class fruit on this land since its purchase in 1896. Today, the vineyards are planted to Petite Sirah, Zinfandel, and Sauvignon Blanc on the warmer bench lands, and Pinot Noir and Chardonnay on the cooler land close to the Russian River.

The 2020 Glen Ellen Cabernet Sauvignon is a medium-bodied wine with juicy flavors of berry and black cherry and soft tannins for a rich finish.

The 2020 Gamla Cabernet Sauvignon from Golan Heights Winery displays complex aromas of cherry, blackberry and mulberry, along with hints of tobacco, herb and French oak. This 2020 Gamla Cabernet Sauvignon wine is flavorful wine exhibits a full body and a satisfying finish.

While ready to enjoy upon release, Gamla Cabernet will develop in the bottle for a number of years, and will age well for about six to eight years from harvest. The 2020 Gamla Pinot Noir wine was produced from Pinot Noir grapes harvested entirely from vineyards in the cool northern Golan Heights. The red wine was aged in French oak barrels for seven months.

The 2017 Gamla Syrah wine is from Golan Heights Winery that displays ripe cherry and plum fruit characters, with complex notes of smoke, earth, anise and spice. With medium to full body, this Syrah is aromatic and flavorful.

The 2017 Gamla Syrah is produced exclusively from Syrah fruit harvested from vineyards in the cool Golan Heights growing region. The wine aged in French oak barrels for 12 months. The wine is ready to drink upon release, and should remain in excellent drinking shape for about five to seven years from vintage.

The wine pairs wonderfully with grilled lamb chops, smoky spiced porterhouse steaks, or fried tofu with spicy peanut sauce.

The 2020 Yarden Cabernet Sauvignon wine features attractive fruit characters of ripe cherries, plums and raspberries, intermingling with complex notes of earth and herb, all with a background of elegant French oak. The vineyards on this volcanic plateau rise from 400 meters (1,300 feet) above sea level to 1,200 meters (3,900 feet) and receive snowfall in the winter. The realtively cool climate and rocky volcanic soils are proving to be hospitable conditions for this classic variety. Eighteen months of barrel aging helps this wine to reach its full potential.

This is a medium bodied red wine with soft fruit flavours of plum and berries. The Gossips Cabernet Sauvignon is an easy drinking wine that’s great for any occasion.

The 2022 Gossips Merlot wine is soft, supple and fruity with hints of aniseed. This Merlot wine has a ripe fruit flavours and a hint of liquorice or anise. An excellent alternative to the heavier and more tannic red varieties.
