Description
The 2014 Chateau La Lagune wine has a very well defined, quite intense bouquet with blackberry, cedar and pencil box aromas. This Chateau La Lagune wine is classic in style, demonstrating impressive breeding. The 2014 ChateauLa Lagune palate is is very well balanced with fine tannin, bright and vivacious black fruit laced with graphite, fine mineralité and it fans out wonderfully on the Pauillac-like finish. This Haut-Médoc red wine is excellent.
The 2014 Chateau La Lagune wine was picked between 22 September is a blend of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot and 10% Petit Verdot with the young plots of Merlot and finishing with the Petit Verdot on 7 October. It has well-defined bouquet, a little broody at first, but opening with chalky scents, tobacco and a touch of graphite, the higher percentage of Cabernet lending it a Pauillac like personality.
