Description
The 2018 Chateau Grand Puy Ducasse wine is just as impressive as it was en primeur. The Grand Puy Ducasse wine is richly textured Pauillac loaded with character. This 2018 vintage presents a beautiful purple-garnet color. The aromatic bouquet opens with beautiful notes of black berries, cassis and spice. This French red wine has notes of cedar, a signature of the great wines of Pauillac, and pencil lead appear when the wine is swirled in the glass. On the palate, the wine rolls out a beautiful texture, a powerful structure with dense tannins and slight woody notes, while maintaining a great freshness in the mouth. A very nice 2018 vintage for Chateau Grand-Puy Ducasse, which will blossom fully by 2024-2038.
The Grand Vin of the property, the 2018 vintage of the Chateau Grand Puy Ducasse wine is made from a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (70%) and Merlot (30%).
