Description
The 2018 Delas Freres Cote Rotie Seigneur de Maugiron wine has rounded, full-bodied, voluptuous, and impeccably balanced, it offers lots of spice, cured meats and black fruits, sweet tannin, and a great mid-palate. This French red wine has considerable elegance and purity, and is more sexy and approachable than the more structured Côte Rôtie La Landonne.
This Seigneur de Maugiron wine 2018 by Delas is made from vineyards located on the Côte Brune and the Côte Blonde. In the Middle Ages, the Lord of Maugiron shared his Cote-Rotie vineyard between his two daughters, one brunette and the other blond. It is from there that the names “Côte Brune” and “Côte Blonde” come. The Seigneur de Maugiron by Delas is 100% Syrah.
The Seigneur de Maugiron 2018 wine by Delas is ideally accompanied by meat, beef roasts, water game, truffles or even braised boar. For an optimal tasting, open the bottle 1 to 3 hours before tasting. It is advisable to decant the wine if the time of keeping in the cellar is more than 5 years.
