This estate is on a roll and the 2018 Chateau Talbot wine might just be the best yet. A deep purplish blue color is followed by a mammoth-sized bouquet of crème de cassis, dark chocolate, tobacco, and lead pencil. The 2018 Chateau Talbot wine has a rich, full-bodied, and powerful, it nevertheless stays pure, balanced, and elegant, with a beautiful finish. Its tannins are ripe and integrated, it has balancing acidity, and this is unquestionably another beautiful vintage for this estate. A great St-Julien that reflects the estate more than the vintage.

An essential reference from the Left Bank of Bordeaux, Chateau Talbot is at the head of one of the largest vineyards in the Médoc with 102.5 hectares of vineyards planted in Médoc gravel soils.

The 2018 Chateau Tour Pibran wine reveals an intense purple colour. The nose offers a wide aromatic range with notes of wild violet, followed by red fruit, blackcurrant, and gingerbread. This 2018 Chateau Tour Pibran wine attack is soft and elegant. The tannins are powerful and juicy. The body is fleshy and opulent, carried by a long, fresh finish. It is harmonious, with great balance between power and roundness. This superb Tour Pibran is already accessible and generous. The name Pibran has a long association with premium Bordeaux wines. Originaly the esate was only 10ha in the Pauillac region, in 2001 they expanded the vineyards and now cover over 17ha. This red wine is made in the state of the art winery of Pichon Baron and then matured in Chateau Pibran.

The 2018 Le Marquis de Calon Segur is a drop-dead gorgeous second wine from Calon Segur. This Le Marquis de Calon Segur is bright, lifted and punchy. Expressive floral, savory and spiced notes from the Cabernet add shades of nuance to a core of dark red and purplish berry fruit. Beautifully textured and inviting, the Marquis is positively stunning in 2018.

The 2018 Tinto Pesquera Reserva wine by Alejandro Fernandez from Ribera del Duero, Spain. This Pesquera Tinto Reserva has finesse and strength and is a wonderful example of the true elegance that can be obtained when Tempranillo is aged over time in bottle. Clean and brilliant with an attractive, deep ruby hue. Nose: Complex and very elegant with black fruit aroma, such as plums, together with notes of smoke, spices, roasted coffee beans, toffee, licorice and brioche. Palate: Full, creamy and lingering on the palate. Very rounded, coated tannins with hints of well-integrated fruit coming through.

Tinto Pesquera’s vines are located within the province of Valladolid, in the heart of Ribera del Duero, which has hot summers, incredibly cold winters and extreme diurnal temperature differences that create an ideal combination for producing silky and sumptuous Tempranillo wines.

This 2018 Tinto Pesquera Reserva wine is a perfect as an accompaniment with casseroles, red meats and matured cheeses.

The 2017 Remy Ferbras Chateauneuf du Pape Rouge wine has a bright ruby color. This Remy Ferbras Chateauneuf du Pape has a complex nose of red fruits carried by spices aromas. Palate is round & full-bodied, tanin structure is silky, with a crispy fruit finish.

Manual harvest followed by a strict sorting of the grapes. Traditional vinifications are handled separately for each grape variety. Alcoholic fermentation maintained at around 26 and 28°C with two to three weeks maceration. The wine is partly aged on oak barrels from two to three wines, up to 18 months.
