The 2021 Habla La Tierra wine has a garnet intense cherry characteristic of all our wines, with violet rim. Bright and clean the glass, with dense tears. This Tempranillo wine has aromas of tomato leaf, anise, and chamomile, evoke the land where the grapes ripen. This Habla La Tierra has scents of fig leafs in the spring which is sweet and bitter.

Bodegas Habla is a newly-founded winery in Extremadura and also a valuable research and investigation (R & I) enterprise, serving the vine-growing and wine-producing industry. José Civantos and Juan Tirado, the winery’s owners, have opted for the most advanced techniques and invested in the most modern technology available.

The 2011 Hacienda Abascal Zorita Limitada wine by Marques de la Concordia has a deep ruby red colour. This Spanish red wine shows rich, intense, ripe red fruits with hints of plum. The 2013 Hacienda Zorita Magister MMXIII by Marques de la Concordia is an exceptional wine of elegance and complexity. This Hacienda Zorita Magister wine has aromas of fragrant peppered plum nose with savoury cedar oak, hint of strawberry freshness, blueberry and subtle cold cut meats. Gorgeous velvet palate, high quality oak, some sweetness on the dark fruit core and firm tannins persisting. The Hacienda Zorita Magister MMXIII is suitable for cellar ageing.

The Hacienda Zorita Magister MMXIII wine has a blend of 75% Shiraz, 15% Tempranillo, 10% Merlot. This Spanish Wine is then aged for 18 months in new French Allier oak casks in the Marqués de la Concordia Ageing Cellar at Hacienda Zorita.

The 2018 Henschke Cyril Henschke Cabernet Sauvignon wine has a sweet vanilla and cedar aromas mesh beautifully with the bouquet of blueberries, violets and cassis. This Henschke Cabernet Sauvignon has a deep magenta in colour. The palate presents tight, well-integrated fine-grained tannins balanced perfectly with lush, dark berry fruit flavours.

The 2022 Henschke Henry’s Seven Shiraz Grenache Viognier wine has attractive aromas of spiced plum, red currant and blue and black berry fruits are met with floral nuances of violets and black pepper spice. The round, supple palate is filled with juicy blue and red fruits, spiced plum, liquorice and notes of crushed tarragon, with beautifully textured svelte tannins and a long, peppery finish. This Henry’s Seven Shiraz Grenache Viognier wine has deep crimson with ruby hues.

The 2018 Henschke Keyneton Euphonium Shiraz Cabernet Merlot wine is from the Eden and Barossa Valleys. This Keyneton Euphonium wine is blended with cabernet sauvignon, merlot and cabernet franc from selected vineyards in both regions.

This Henschke Keyneton Euphonium Shiraz Cabernet Merlot wine has a very deep crimson with red hue. Alluring and spicy aromas of red currant, Satsuma plum, red liquorice and black pepper with herbaceous layers of bramble, sage and rosemary. Concentrated and elegant flavours of succulent red currant and blue berry fruits are balanced with black pepper and a hint of violet florals, while a clean line of acidity and fine-grained tannins add length and texture.

The Herdade Do Sobroso Reserva Tinto 2014 presents a full-bodied wine with deep red colour. It’s complex aroma presents traces of mature red berries, jam and chocolate offering an intense and prolonged aftertaste.

Herdade do Sobroso is located in Vidigueira in the Alentejo region. This is one of the oldest wine regions in Portugal. In the beautiful Alentejo, Herdade do Sobroso has a perfect location with its vineyards located on the banks of the Guadiana River and the Rio dos Patos river or the river of ducks.

The trademark is therefore the ducks on the labels. It is the perfect setting for the ripening of the grapes and few vineyards have this luxury and this partly explains why this winery can make very beautiful wines because there is never water debt. In addition to the fact that there is sufficient water, this region is the only one within the Alentejo that has an ocean influence that ensures a healthy ripening. This beautiful Herdade do Sobroso Reserva is a blend of the Alicante Boushet & Cabernet Sauvignon.

The Herdade Do Sobroso Tinto Cellar Selection 2014 is a full-bodied wine with a rich colour. Its fine aroma suggests very mature red fruits, cocoa and jam. The aftertaste is prolonged and elegant. In the mouth this red wine is a powerful with a nice balance between acidity and tannins.

The Cellar Selection Tinto of Winery Herdade do Sobroso is a red wine from the region of Alentejo of Alentejano.

The wine is brilliant and violet-edged ruby in color, the 2012 Inglenook RC Syrah shows fresh, vibrant aromas of plum, blueberry, tobacco, and forest floor. The wine is superbly balanced on the palate, with well-defined notes of fennel, cedar, and allspice, which emerge gradually. The texture is velvety, supported by extremely well-integrated French oak, and the long, aromatic finish resolves perfectly.

Roman Coppola, a Syrah aficionado fond of both the Australian heavyweights as well as the more pedigreed Syrah-based wines from the Northern Rhone, worked with the Inglenook winemaking team to create an estate Syrah that combined the nuance and texture of ‘old world’ Syrah with the powerful fruit of ‘new world’ Syrah. Our terroir provides optimal conditions for producing this rich, opulent wine.

Our most recent tasting of the 2011 Inglenook Rubicon revealed a complex nose that includes notes of graphite, dark red currants, and a floral potpourri of dried rose petals with hints of allspice. This wine demonstrates a refined richness, yet its intensity does not weigh down the palate. The flavors exude a freshness, complemented by nice acidity. Impressions of juicy dark cherries, tobacco, and currants are most prevalent, while notes of spices, tea leaves, and an intriguing earthy quality create a more rugged wine that is very expressive of its unique terroir. The wine’s essence is further enhanced by fine-grained tannins, which support an elegant structure and refined finish that boasts deep aromatic notes of espresso.

A solid wine for the 2011 vintage with bright and vivid aromas of blackberry, black currant, spice and walnut character. Full body, silky and refined.

This 2015 Jim Barry Benbournie Cabernet Sauvignon is a deep crimson red in the glass. Intensely aromatic with a mix of dark vine fruits, dark chocolate, fresh garden herbs, cedar oak and a touch of earth. The palate is flooded with generous dark berry flavours with savoury notes of earth, clove and cedar. Very fine, mineralic tannin lends length and style to a wine of great presence and persistence. The Benbournie has been created to be enjoyed upon release after a period of long term cellaring (under correct conditions) to enhance the wine’s qualities. 14% Alcohol.

The 2021 Jim Barry Bros Shiraz wine is fruit driven and intensely flavoured blend brimming with red and black fruits combined with a touch of chocolate and spicy eucalyptus on the finish. The 2020 Jim Barry Bros Shiraz Cabernet Sauvignon wine is juicy and vibrant with aromas of blue black fruits with lifts of violet florals and spicy highlights. The palate is lively and bright with a burst of red fruits and a dark fruited drive. This Jim Barry Bros Shiraz Cabernet Sauvignon has blue black fruits with lifts of violet florals and spicy highlights.

This Jim Barry Bros Shiraz Cabernet Sauvignon is a great match for chicken in a creamy and tarragon sauce.

The 2017 Jim Barry Single Vineyard Shiraz bright wine on the nose, with bramble, purple fruits, spice and a violet floral trim. A commanding entry on the palate, with concentrated brambles and plums, deep woven spice, pretty floral detailing and a super fine but chewy tannin profile. This Jim Barry Single Vineyard Shiraz wine has a long and firm finish.

Located in the Clare Valley region of Australia, the Jim Barry wine label was established during 1959 by Jim Barry. The wines produced by him were known for their unique character and flavour. When he started making wines in this region, he was the first qualified person to do so. His wines were mostly made from varietals such as Riesling, Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon. Today, his family members have taken over this brand.

The authentic and beautifully concentrated 2018 Jim Barry Armagh Shiraz, is a powerfully-compressed wine that explodes with aroma and flavour. This Jim Barry The Armagh Shiraz wine intense, plush and generous, the oak is hidden behind curtains of deep, ripe, intense fruit and extraordinarily fine, structured tannins.

The vineyard is hand-harvested, with several passes, to achieve optimum ripeness and flavour profile. Vinification takes place in two-tonne, open-top fermenters with heading-down boards. Regular rack-and-return and pump-overs take place to optimise extraction of colour and flavour; in some vintages post-ferment maceration may be an option. At completion of fermentation the wine is pressed off and matured in a combination of new and old French and American oak hogsheads for 13 to 19 months.

“My pick of the recently bottled vintages, the 2016 The Armagh Shiraz shows a bit more obvious oak (simply because of its youth) but also a wonderful taut tension between ripeness and acidity. The fruit here is a bit redder in profile, leaning more toward raspberries than blackberries, while still being fully ripe. Full-bodied and supple, it finishes cedary, intense and long, adding in complex, lingering spice notes.”
