The Chateau Los Boldos Cabernet Sauvignon wine are aged in French oak barrels for 6 months. They are young, fruity, of intense colors and with soft tannins. They faithfully reflect the most emblematic varieties grown in Cachapoal Andes, and are perfect for informal and relaxed occasions. Château Los Boldos occupies a 250ha site in one of Chile’s finest viticultural areas.

The Château Los Boldos covers 250 hectares and is situated to the south of Santiago, in Chile. The vineyard is planted at the feet of the Andes, next to the village of Requinoa. The region benefits from a microclimate, which balances the differences between the daytime and nighttime temperatures. This microclimate allows a slow, long and complete ripening of the grapes. The vineyard was established in 1850 and is one of the oldest in Chili, and is planted primarily with Cabernet Sauvignon vines from France. The wines from the Château Los Boldos are produced exclusively using grapes grown on the oldest areas of the vineyard, from vines planted between 1936 and 1975.

The 2019 Chateau Los Boldos Cabernet Sauvignon Grand Reserve wine has aromas of fruits such as cherries, plums, black currants, and a touch of leather and smoke. The Cabernet Sauvignon Grand Reserve wine is well balanced, of medium body, with round tannins and a persistent ending.

Chateau Los Boldos was created in 1991 with the aim of producing premium wines from Chile. Its founder envisioned wines that would benefit from century old French winemaking techniques combined with Chile’s terroir potential and ability to produce outstanding wine grapes.

The 2018 Chateau Los Boldos Cabernet Sauvignon Vieilles Vignes wine has aromas of plums, raspberries, strawberries and cherries, with toasted, spicy and herbal notes. The Chateau Los Boldos Grand Cru wine is our Estate range Icon wine made exclusively from our Cachapoal-Andes vineyard grapes. Produced only in exceptional harvest years when good climate conditions enable us to achieve the level of quality we pursue for Grand Cru. The wine is an assemblage of the best Cabernet Sauvignon planted in 1948 and Merlot planted in 1959. Grapes are hand-picked and it ages for 12 months in new French oak barrels. This unfiltered wine is the finest expression of Chilean fruit quality and French winemaking tradition.

The 2020 Montes Alpha Cabernet Sauvignon wine has a deep ruby red color, the expression of caberbet sauvignon is evident providing structure and elegance. Lots of berries fruits and hints of tobacco and vanilla. Promising abundant soft rounded tannis. The Montes Alpha Cabernet Sauvignon wine’s structure and balance of this full bodied wine makes it very pleasant and enjoyable. a very sophisticated wine with a delightfully long finish.

The 2020 Montes Alpha Carmenere wine has a deep and live ruby red color. The wine has a very elegant and evident Carmenere tipicity, showing lovely black pepper aromas with hints of red berries, chocolate, a bit of vanilla and black plums. In the mouth is distinctively smooth, with rounded and soft tannis. Long finis. This Montes Alpha Carmenere wine is beautifully integrated and balanced.

The Montes Alpha M 2018 has a perfumed and complex with outstanding aromas of ripe red and black fruits over subtle notes of crème de cassis, tobacco, and leather. Spice aromas of red and black pepper mingle with cinnamon and dark chocolate notes. In palate is smooth but structured, with silky tannins. The Montes Alpha M 2016 wine is aged for 18 month in new french barrels.

The 2020 Montes Alpha Malbec wine has a red-colored intense, almost black-looking wine. To the nose it expels notes of red fruit in unison with spices and black pepper. This wine was aged in French oak barrels for 12 months developing superior complexity both inaroma and on the palate. This Montes Alpha Malbec is a soft, elegant wine of silky tannis with a long, delightful finish.

The 2021 Montes Alpha Merlot wine is a well-structured wine with good volume on the palate and smooth, round tannins that make this an ideal wine to enjoy now or over the course of the next 10 years. The nose is complex with varied aromas of ripe black and red fruits such as blackberries, figs, and plums in syrup. This Montes Alpha Merlot wine has notes of black and red pepper intermingle with a touch of fresh tobacco and leather.

The Montes Alpha Pinot Noir 2020 has a beautiful and delicate ruby red color. Intense and elegant nose with a predominance of strawberries and flowery hints. In the palate is clean, well balanced, with soft rounded tannis and a good level of acidity.

The 2020 Montes Alpha Syrah wine has a aromatic nose with outstanding aromas of ripe black fruits such as blackberries and figs. This Montes Alpha Syrah has aromas of crème de cassis meld with mild notes of leather and dark chocolate, which are very characteristic of Syrah from Colchagua.The palate is well balanced with rich acidity, incredibly smooth tannins, tremendous structure, and generous volume.

The Montes Cabernet Sauvignon Classic Series 2021 was aged for 8 months in contact with 2nd- and 3rd-use French oak barrels.

The predominance of ripe red and black fruit aromas such as strawberries, plums, and fights on the nose. Notes of crème de cassis intermingle with sweet spices such as nutmeg and black pepper. In the palate, the wine stands out for its well-balanced acidity, medium body, and incredibly smooth tannins. This Montes Cabernet Sauvignon Classic Series wine has moderately persistent finish echoes the notes perceived on the nose.
