The Turkey Flat Butchers Block White has a blend of 49% Shiraz, 38% Grenache, 13% Mataro. Here, each varietal is vinified & aged individually in French oak barrels before the final blending process. Pale straw in colour with a fragrant aroma of gooseberry and red capsicum with a hint of grapefruit. A generous mid palate with tropical fruit and gooseberry flavours leads to a fresh zingy finish.

The 2021 Tyrrell’s Beside Broke Road Pinot Gris wine is a classic cool climate style showing lifted citrus notes with a hint of pear and ginger. The palate continues these citrus and pear flavours but has lovely fine grained texture and soft acid finish which is a hallmark of Pinot Gris.

The grapes were sourced from King Valley, a cool climate high altitude region in Victoria. The fruit was harvested in the very early hours of the morning when the fruit is at its coolest, the grapes were lightly pressed and then fermented in stainless steel tanks at cool temperatures. The Australian White Wine spent some extended time on yeast lees to gain extra complexity and texture.

The Tyrrell’s Moore’s Creek Chardonnay wine has a straw yellow with greenish tints. This Australian white wine has an elegant fruity aroma of wine tempts hints of ripe peach and other stone fruits. The Tyrrell’s Moore’s Creek Chardonnay grapes were harvested at different times during the picking season. Some were harvested early to retain clean, fresh acid characteristics; the remainder were harvested later in the season at optimum ripeness to create a rich full bodied flavour.

The range of wines “Moore’s Creek” is named after a small river, which originates in the hills Brokenback Range and flows through the winery HVD (Hunter Valley Distillery) and vineyards Penfoldvale. Murray Tyrrell created the Winemaker’s Selection range back in 1965, when, with the assistance of Len Evans, he set out to determine the best wines from each vintage. He named these wines after the casks in which they were matured; for instance, the first Chardonnay we made went into cask number 47, so it became Vat 47 Chardonnay, or Pinot Chardonnay as it was then called.

The White wine has a pale straw with a green and golden tinge. This 2022 Vasse Felix Chardonnay wine has a lovely waxy, green tea candle note lifts in the subtle white peach, pear and green plum perfume, accompanied by complex floral aromas of Jasmine and camomile and sexy hints of rock flint and vanilla bean. More savoury complexity will develop with time in the bottle. Rich core framed by a delicate dry structure. The satin palate features complex flavours of purified lemon, a hint of ginger, custard and delicate peach, and finishes with a lovely dry, chalky feel.

The 2022 Vasse Felix Filius Chardonnay wine has a bright pale straw with a gold tinge. On the nose a fragrant fruit perfume of white peach, yuzu and pear flan, gives way to creamy yeast lees and fragrant oak complexities which deliver almond meal, ginger nut biscuits and nougat nuances. Background notes of flint and ocean breeze reveal themselves with time.

This Chardonnay is an incredible body characteristic of our Premier plots of fruit, complemented by a fresh line of acidity. This freshness is followed by an immediate broadening of the palate, harmonious and chalky, the wine is mouth coating but not heavy. This Vasse Felix Filius Chardonnay wine is complex and complete, the fragrance lingers on the finish.

The Vasse Felix Heytesbury Chardonnay 2014 wine has a pale to mid straw in colour. Pristine, vibrant fruit aromas dance in the glass. This Felix Heytesbury Chardonnay has fruit characters of nectarine, tangerine and grapefruit enveloped with roasted nuts and crème fraiche coming from malolactic fermentation and long maturation on lees in the barrel. The has a palate is crisp but also creamy with a great purity of minerals and fruit.

The Vina Ventisquero Clasico Chardonnay wine has pale golden-coloured wine with light green hues. The nose reveals aromas of papaya and mango, together with honey, vanilla and toast, from the barrel-ageing. This Ventisquero Clasico Chardonnay wine has good volume and structure, balanced acidity and a smooth finish.
