The 2019 Yalumba Samuel’s Collection Barossa Shiraz wine has a deep red in colour with sweet, fresh and fragrant aromatics of cherries, plums and bright red-current fruits. The 2018 Yalumba Signature Barossa Cabernet Sauvignon Shiraz wine has a deep dark red in colour, this wine displays aromas which are dense and curranty, yet pure and bright. The nose shows lifted florals, violets and choc mints. The palate is brooding and serious with dark chocolate hazelnuts and warm generosity. The 2017 Yalumba The Menzies Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon wine opens with a full berry attack building to a round full mid palate of fruit and oak. The Yalumba The Octavius Old Vine Barossa Shiraz 2016 is full depth red purple in colour. The nose shows hints of opulent plums, coffee and cedar with a crunch of dark berries and a burst of olive and aniseed. The palate displays sweet spicy fruit in the mid palate, all plump and juicy.
